Chapter 23 is the 23rd chapter of the Kaichou wa Maid-Sama! Manga.

SummaryEdit

Aoi and Subaru join Satsuki and the others. On the other hand, Misaki is still wondering about Tora's intentions.  Maki announces the rules for  the third part of the competition. A false atmosphere will be created where the footmen can demonstrate their abilities. However, when Misaki spots Shouichirou and Soutarou and tries to avoid them, she falls down from the stage, however, she falls over Takumi, who manages to take control and save Misaki. Misaki is speechless at his action. Even though its visible that he is undergoing pain, Takumi still intends to go on.

At the begining of the third round, Misaki is quite worried. According to her plan, she will handle all the heavy work, leaving Takumi with the easy task, like guiding and explaining. However, Maki sees through it and asks Misaki if they are not co-operating. To make things better, Takumi tries to control the situation, saying that his partner was trying to buy him some time so that he can give a violin performance. Takumi starts playing violin, and everyone is surprised at his skills. However, Misaki notices that Takumi is suffering from pain. She remembers the times when she received his help, believing that she is always being helped. She stops Takumi from playing. Maki accuses them of not co-operating and blames Misaki for interfering with her partner's job. Not able to hold back anymore, Misaki if he means that she should push her partner until he collapses. She tells him that she likes a gentle lovable shop, like her cafe, where the workers watch over each other. Maki looks startled.

Satsuki and the others rush to get aid for Takumi. Misaki apologizes to Satsuki, who happily asks her if she will come with her if the shop's location is changed. Misaki tearfully agrees, and Satsuki says that she is he luckiest manager in the world. Somewhere else, Tora is talking to the disappointed and depressed Maki. When everyone leaves, Takumi tells Misaki to take off her wig. Her hair bends into curls and Takumi comments that she looks good with curly hair as well and he wants to keep looking at her.

Tora offers to give the 'Igarashi financial Group's' land to Maki, surprising him. He says that Maki has a lot to learn because he got depressed only because of what 'she' said. Takumi is shown to be resting on Misaki's shoulders.
